Sanitaryware test machine
LOADtec
Static load testing for wall-hung basins, WCs and bidets. Enclosed chamber, load-cell controlled.
LOADtec: technical highlights
Standards
Static load testing to EN 997 (WCs, class 1 and class 2), EN 14688 (washbasins) and EN 14528 (bidets).
Products tested
Wall-hung basins, WCs and bidets.
Load capacity
Up to 1,000 kg on the standard version, up to 2,500 kg on the high-capacity version.
Load-cell control
A load cell in the thrust axis measures and regulates the force in kg in real time, throughout the whole cycle.
Two test modes
A standard static test, with a gradual ramp up to the load required by the standard and a constant hold for the set time, and a Recipe Test with custom load profiles (ramps and steps) for R&D or special requirements.
Fully enclosed safety cabin
Double front doors and transparent shatter-resistant panels protect the operator if a ceramic piece fails under load.
Safety interlock
The cabin stays locked while a test is running.
Strong, precise thrust
A steel vertical cylinder driven by a gearmotor, with electronically controlled stroke.
Tare compensation
A dedicated software function accounts for the wooden blocks that spread the load on the ceramic.
Quick fixing
A rear wall with adjustable slotted rails holds different sanitaryware types and fixing distances.
Live load graph
The actual load curve in kg against time is shown over the tolerance band, so any deviation is visible during the test.
Operator station
An independent wheeled trolley with a touch-screen industrial PC. Icons select the product and the standard, and the same screen runs manual cylinder controls, cabin lighting and report printing.
Inspection and mobility
LED lighting inside the cabin for checking the piece, and a self-supporting aluminium frame on swivel wheels.
